He currently resides in Dallas, Texas.

He began playing golf at a young age when his parents Diane and Scott Scheffler gave him a toy golf set when he was three.
He trained under Randy Smith at the Royal Oaks Golf Club.
In high school, he played both basketball and golf at Highland Park High School.
In 2013, he attended the US Junior Amateur.
He later went on to play collegiate golf for the University of Texas.
Scheffler qualified for his first US Open in 2016 and again in 2017.

He began his professional career playing on the Korn Ferry Tour.
In 2019, he won the Korn Ferry Tour Finals and he was also named the Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year.

He is just one of five golfers in history to enter the Masters as World No.
1 and then go on and win the title.
The following month, he missed the cut of the PGA Championship.
He would go on to finish Top 2 in the US Open and then lost to Rory McIlroy in the Toru Championship.
In 2022, Scheffler was voted as the PGA Tour Player of the Year, winning his first Jack Nicklaus Award.
